PRs

<kaz> PR 12

<kaz> mm: merged

<kaz> PR 11

McCool: merged
... off topic: will update the script to validate all TDs in the repo with .jsonld suffix

VPN

McCool: managed to get on the VPN, setup bridge, DHCP.
... VPN has no access to outside network / internet

Toumura: there is already a soft NAT, but not advertised in DHCP. It can be set manually.

<kaz> Toumura-san's message

Toumura: setting that as default may cause packet forwarding loop
... it can be avoided if a static route is set for the VPN server (?)

McCool: explaining a possible approach to solve this for his devices.

Toumura: already added the instructions for adding the route
... updated pages: https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/master/events/2020.06.Online/tools/vpn_softetherclient.md#35-add-static-route-for-vpn-server-only-for-linux and https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/master/events/2020.06.Online/tools/vpn_softetherbridge.md#35-add-static-route-for-vpn-server-only-for-linux

<kaz> Setup Instructions for SoftEther VPN Bridge

McCool: has two physical devices and an external access point. Will try to add the static route.

<kaz> diagram of the basic network configuration

<kaz> information on the dedicated Slack channel also available

Toumura: Use the dedicated slack channel for VPN troubleshooting (link in the email)

<kaz> kaz: would like to clarify until when the setting is updated

<McCool> https://www.get-myip.com/

<kaz> kaz: if Toumura-san needs, we can ask the W3C Systeam to give him as well a root access for the AWS instance

<kaz> ... please let me know about your information to me

<kaz> toumura: will do

McCool: add a line to table(https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/master/events/2020.06.Online/TDs/active.csv) indicating whether the described TD is online

plugfest repo content

McCool: everybody should add organization name to each table entry: https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/master/events/2020.06.Online/data/impl/template.csv
... we need a naming convention
... added organization- prefix for existing entries

Lagally: another way of doing that is using reverse domain names

McCool: added only prefix to template. All implementations should have the prefixes to avoid conflicts
... together with kaz (covering most of the day) will merge PRs as soon as possible so they don't pile up

<kaz> IP address assignment table

McCool: assigning IP ranges to organizations to avoid conflicts if concurrent requests come up

<kaz> (for the possible need for static IP addresses)

McCool: suggests setting up a "local" instance of LinkSmart directory

Farshid: will try to set it up and connect to the VPN

McCool: will validate all the TDs using the tools and report any issues

Lagally: is anybody going to use any instant messaging channel? slack, hangout?

<kaz> Toumura-san's message

McCool: will can keep the IRC channel open.
