HTML 5 references

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/spec-prod/2019AprJun/0000.html

We´ve been asked to update our references to WhatWG HTML

means going versionless

which means in-spec references can break at any time

jamesn working on a pull request for this

if links go dead, that flags us we need to update things

W3C does publish stable HTML

yet we can´t reference it?

MOU with WhatWG apparently specifies that

https://www.w3.org/2019/04/WHATWG-W3C-MOU.html

means refs could break during CR, does that mean we have to redo CR?

what about Recs? Do we have to issue errata?

seems like this introduces problems

but guess we´ll follow the rules

<joanie> Normative references from W3C specifications to material that is in the HTML and DOM specifications shall reference the whatwg.org Living Standard both in-line and in the Normative References section. W3C advises that W3C specifications also reference the W3C Recommendation in the References section.

seems not to be issue for APG

most of the HTML 5 links in ARIA are in the relatedConcepts

maybe it´s time to remove that item from the aria definitions

JD to file issue for discussion in WG

move the info to prose where useful

1.2 Publication planning

<jemma_> https://github.com/w3c/aria-practices/wiki/June-25%2C-2019-Meeting

awaiting labeling thingy

and APG uptake of accepted roles

hopefully will clear this week

APG 1.1 r4

<jemma_> Aims for APG 1.1 R4 CfC(Call for Consensus) starting July 10 and publication during week of July 22

<jemma_> Top priorities for R4 publication include

<jemma_> Updated simple carousel Combobox Date Picker Tooltips on Toolbar example Naming and describing guidance Disclosure Menu
