Laura's updated images

<JimA> http://w3c.github.io/low-vision-a11y-tf/requirements.html#color-vision

Laura: Attached are simulated examples of color blindness for the requirements doc that meet Non-text Contrast. 1.4.11. I added a white border around some of the slices in order to achieve 3:1 or better contrast.
... I wondering if we consider the current presentation of graphics essential to the information being conveyed.

<JimA> perhaps keep current pictures and add the other images for a bit of education

<JimA> shawn: adds complexity. proposes other ideas

<JimA> shawn: are they essential? seems like it.

<JimA> jim: perhaps put black and white lines around all pie pieces

Laura: good idea.

<JimA> shawn: quite a challenge. agree with the concept, seems to add a lot of complexity.

<JimA> laura: essential for lowvision and color vision people.

<JimA> shawn: is it essential for people to distinguish each piece of the pie. thinks answer is no. important that people see things differently, but not that they see each piece individually. more of a gestalt issue

<shawn> ... so is it worth the added visual complexity of the white and black lines? I think no.

<shawn> +1 for including a note

shawn: put on wiki page. and add a note.

<JimA> important for LV to share the considerations that we worked through on a wiki page, so others understand the issues.

Review changes to Requirements Document http://htmlpreview.github.io//?https://github.com/w3c/low-vision-a11y-tf/blob/jim-edits/requirements.html

<JimA> added all wcag and UAAG related sc.

<shawn> [ Shawn sees "@@ References is a wiki page. Add to this document or create another WAI page (not wiki)" and thinks it's good to leave that a wiki pages (so we can update it) ]

<JimA> user need @@ blocks of text ok

<shawn> +1 to deleting "The Task Force plans to expand this section." (we could always add more later if we decide to)

jim: remove figures: 1
... added pargraph on “Color is combination of hue, saturation, and brighness…”

shawn: may be adding more than we need.

<JimA> shawn: not strongly - talk about brightness and less about hue and staturation.

Laura: okay with it.

Shawn: okay with leaving it.

<JimA> @@ color intro ok.

Jim: added “brightness adjustment…”

<JimA> laura +1

<JimA> shawn+!

shawn: +1

jim: added “Not Relying on Color…”

don't rely on color alone.

Laura +1 for jim’s paragraph

<JimA> shawn may rewrite.

Jim: Rewrap for One Direction Scrolling @@rename to Reflow to mirror

shawn: rewrap and reflow are same thing.

change rewrap to relow in document

jim: will re-edit.

<shawn> s/reedit./re-edit.

<JimA> jim to remove @@[removed link to blocks of text, defined at first instance in document@@

jim: between wrapping lines @@(removed blocks of text) between lines in a block of text
... call it lines of text.

<JimA> in line spacing - change to " between lines of text " @@(removed blocks of text)

Jim: linled to “Rivers of white”

shawn: this is informative so think okay to link to wikipedia
