Steven: I was the keynote
Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com>
Steven: Last talk was about
XForms for health systems. Worth looking up
... There is an XForms course at this year's xmlsummerschool in
Oxford.

Steven: I kind of expected index and focus would follow each other. If you change the focus, the index changes but not vice versa. Any thoughts?
Erik: We do change the focus when
the index changes
... if you click, it changes the index.
Steven: That's in the spec
Erik: but vice versa too.
... I agree that setindex should take the focus with it.
Alain: I agree. I don't do it like that, but I can fix it.
<scribe> ACTION: Steven to spec up setindex changing the focus.
<trackbot> Created ACTION-2191 - Spec up setindex changing the focus. [on Steven Pemberton - due 2018-08-29].

Steven: I don't see why this is beneficial, that a submit to a nonexistent submission is silently ignored.
Erik: Agree, it should be an
error.
... What do we do with <send/>
Steven: xforms-action-error
Erik: It should be consistent.
<scribe> ACTION: Steven to propose text for error for submit to a nonexistent submission
<trackbot> Created ACTION-2192 - Propose text for error for submit to a nonexistent submission [on Steven Pemberton - due 2018-08-29].

Steven: I think we should
identify the two cases of no element with an id, and the other
where the id is in a repeat that is empty
... the first case is an error. The second should be ignored I
believe.
<scribe> ACTION: Steven to propose text separating the two cases of ID identification
<trackbot> Created ACTION-2193 - Propose text separating the two cases of id identification [on Steven Pemberton - due 2018-08-29].

Steven: I have just posted new proposed text, which you should read to see what you think. We'll talk about it next week.

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jun/0033
Steven: Talk about this next week
https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jul/0001
Steven: Again, discuss next week.

Owen: Thanks for the collapsing
sections article
... I'm looking to remove obstacles for companies to produce
strategic and performance plans and reports in machine-readable
form.
... I think XForms can help there.
... Structured authoring organisations need to get together to
progress this
