<Alain> Hello! Sorry, just on IRC today...

ACTION-2154: Add readonly condition for trigger to spec with note

asking for feedback.

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0011.html

Steven: Done. Please check.

ACTION-2143: Spec up adding help hint alert and label to the model

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2017Nov/0034

Steven: Done, please check. Needs some good checking, because it's a large change

<repeat appearance="">

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0013.html

Steven: My suggestion is to use @appearance to say that it should all appear on a line.
... any thoughts?

Erik: We also use the stylesheet to do this.
... I'm not sure if we actually use the spec, and that it is block by default.

Steven: Does that mean inline by default?
... What do you do with a list of integers?

Erik: I think it would be inline

Steven: The spec has always had block by default,

Erik: I don't know why

Steven: a repeat has a repeat-item pseuso element. It would be nice to have an easy way to switch between block and inline.

Erik: No strong feelings.

Steven: It is irritating to have to go from control to CSS when writing to get the effect you want.
... Alain, any feelings on the proposal?

<Alain> Yes, I am OK with appearance and CSS would not be great...

RESOLUTION: add @appearance="compact" to repeat

<Alain> Yes!

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to add @appearance="compact" to repeat.

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2155 - Add @appearance="compact" to repeat. [on Steven Pemberton - due 2018-01-31].

Repeat item context

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0019.html

Steven: I have created a test for the test suite for this case. I will upload today.

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0023.html

Steven: At the bottom of that mail I propose removing 'repeat position'.
... OK with that?

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to remove 'repeat position' as per https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0023.html

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2156 - Remove 'repeat position' as per https://lists.w3.org/archives/public/public-xformsusers/2018jan/0023.html [on Steven Pemberton - due 2018-01-31].

Non-activated triggers

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0016.html

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0025.html

Steven: Can you think of a way to tell if a trigger is activated or not, apart

from repeating the conditions that are attached to it?

Erik: Yes, duplicate the tests.

Steven: That is what I feared.
... it is a change that we have made, because the original version of XForms disabled the handlers, and we no longer do.

Support for decimal type

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2018Jan/0018.html

Steven: What can I say?
... you say adopt format-number or not.

Erik: Shame it was in XSLT2 but not XPath2, we could import it anyway.
... I don't have strong opinions; they are useful; we have already imported them in our implementation.
... formatting functions are low-hanging fruit.

Steven: Alain, any feelings?

<Alain> I have implemented a light version of format-number in XSLTForms

Steven: Erik, which functions from XSLT2 did you import?

<ebruchez> format-time(), format-date(), format-dateTime(), format-number()

Steven: Proposal is that we include these.
... OK Alain?

<Alain> I agree with the proposal

RESOLUTION: import format-time(), format-date(), format-dateTime(), format-number() from XSLT2

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to import format-time(), format-date(), format-dateTime(), format-number() from XSLT2

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2157 - Import format-time(), format-date(), format-datetime(), format-number() from xslt2 [on Steven Pemberton - due 2018-01-31].

Test Suite 2.0

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2017Nov/0016

Steven: I've done more, will upload later today.

AOB

Steven: I'm converting my paper into Docbook5.
... for XML Prague

<Alain> Great!
