Jason: ETS may start working on
personalization but it is a work in progress.
... , concerns about definitions for the survey items that
developers would not want to flag that their content is
distracting.
... , we need to know where to apply the metadata, video or
some script to overlay some content, what algorithm is a tool
going to use to suppress that?
... , not clear what the expectations / asumptions are.
... , agreed that distractions are a problem and what to do
something about it, but advertising ect won't use this markup
for this purpose anyways.
Sharon, I need to go back and look at it again.
Charles, ask Lisa if we do have definitions for these terms and if so link to them from the survey.
Sharon, I was going to go look at the Semantics page since Lisa usually has definitions there.
Jason, there is usually links to documentation, then I read the survey questions and have that open in a separate tab to go through each question.
scribe: , my time has been dominated by WCAG.
Charles, maybe Jason you could comment on the restructuring of the Specification.
Jason, Yes I will have that discussion with Mark here at ETS.
scribe: , suggestion any groups or individuals going to implement this should be involved in these discussions.
Charles, I know Benetech may implement some of this but since I am leading that, I am waiting to see what happens here.
Jason, same for me here at ETS.
Charles, I will see if I can drum up some links and update the survey.
Jason, I will be monitoring the list and if the survey gets updated I will take another look.
