TPAC Agenda & Logistics https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/low-vision-a11y-tf/wiki/F2F_TPAC_2017

Jim: We have a room and a phone bridge for TPAC.
... Glenda and Alistair will attend.
... If you can participate by phone, please edit the Wiki page to let us know.

You can add agenda topics.

Scott: What's TPAC like? I am attending, but have never before.

Jim: There will be a room with tables, chairs, a phone, and snacks. Meetings can happen all day, or for shorter periods.
... It works out well for getting lots of stuff done.
... There may be other people, such as Jean Spellman or Andrew, who are signed up, and may join.

Shawn: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri are for Working Group meetings
... Wednesday is for plenary sessions and breakout sessions on various topics.

Jim: Tim Berners-Lee unobtrusively joined a TPAC session I was at one time.
... I will be on the phone all day at TPAC if needed.

Shawn to Scott: You can register onsite.

Shawn: Late registration is $175.

John minutes Shawn not saying anything.

Shawn to Scott: Let me know if you need any help with registration.

Glenda to Scott: I encourage you to come.

Shawn to Scott: I would like to meet you in person.

John continues to scribe the full-court press to get Scott to attend.

Jim: TPACs occur all over the world.

<shawn> Shawn: If registration is a blocking issue, let me know.

Glenda: TPAC won't be back in the U.S. for 3 years, and probably 6 years to California.

Shawn to Scott: You can register onsite.

Shawn to Scott: We can meet you there and help you find your way around.

Glenda to Scott: I will give you my mobile number.

Shawn: I will be in EO most of the time, and professes she does not want to clone herself because she does not want to work with herself.

Welcome Erich.

Jim: There will be an agenda for the TPAC meeting.
... There won't be a LVTF meeting next week.
... The AG FTF should be interesting as they consider our stuff.

Understanding Zoom Content https://rawgit.com/w3c/wcag21/zoom-content/understanding/21/zoom-content.html

Jim: I'm really interested in people's thoughts on zoom content I wrote.
... I have been rearranging things.

Shawn suggests, and Jim agrees, to a 2-minute reading break.

Glenda: It would be important to explain the 1280.

<allanj> explanation of 1280px - https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/77

Jim: There's an FAQ on mobile devices.

Glenda: The content is primarily coming out of low vision, not mobile.

Jim: Do the graphics make sense?
... Examples 2 and 3 are new ones I put up.

<JohnRochford_> test

<JohnRochford_> Glenda: I like the cool red arrow on example # 2.

<scott> the different masking on Example 2 is confusing

<JohnRochford_> Scott: Text is erased on one and is covered by a green bar on another.

<JohnRochford_> Jim: I will fix that.

<JohnRochford_> Scott: Perhaps style a border around them, and put captions on them.

<scott> test

<JohnRochford_> Jim: What about the last images?

<JohnRochford_> Jim: I showed the 100% and the 400%.

<JohnRochford_> Glenda: I suggest you add the numbers, e.g., the scroll boundaries.

<JohnRochford_> Scott: I suggest capturing the actual effects.

<JohnRochford_> Scott: You can capture ZoomText from the output of VMware.

<JohnRochford_> Jim: Perhaps I could set up a live demo to show the effects of zooming.

<JohnRochford_> Scott and Glenda: That would work.

<JohnRochford_> Jim: Bulk of work was done by Alistair. I have been editing and rearranging it.

<laura> bye.

<laura> thanks.
