Authentication questions

Janina will forward the authentication questions to the Web Authentication Working Group.

Accessibility of Virtual Reality.

Jason summarized the three themes identified at the previous meeting and outlined in the agenda.

Scott proposes to have a more comprehensive summary by the next meeting and to develop it further in the several subsequent weeks.

Janina suggests that what we need now is more of an interim document than a "final report" - enough to engage the broader Web VR discussion as well as accessibility specialists.

Janina suggests we have enough material for an interim document that could be prepared in September, and it could be further refined.

Scott suggests we could prepare a broad and clear summary across the three themes, for introduction to the process.

Janina: this could lead to a conversation at TPAC.

Scott volunteers to identify key work in the literature that addresses these points.

Scott will attempt to be available remotely for a conversation at TPAC - schedulign will be considered by Janina accordingly.

Jason offers to collaborate with Scott (especially regarding theme 1) to integrate his findings from the literature.

Scott notes (addressing item 3) the paper discussing use of a virtual white cane as a "virtual" assistive technology.

We propose to finalize identification of relevant literature over the next week, to discuss our findings (conclusions and notable points drawn from literature). A draft summary of findings will be written during the following week.

Other topics.

Jason summarizes the work currently before this TF - Web of Things, liaison relationship with Silver Task Force.

There being no further comments, it was agreed to close the meeting at this point.
