<zkoch> You can hear Ade's enthusiasm to be back in his voice

Payment Request API status

zkoch: Don't need anything from group yet
... just getting fixes for now

https://github.com/w3c/browser-payment-api/milestone/8

IJ: Any topics where you would like Pos?

zkoch: some are editorial; that would be helpful
... would love help

IJ: Any new sense of time?

zkoch: Our estimate still feels right: 3-4 weeks from today

<adrianba> or slower....

<zkoch> :D

Payment Method Manifest

https://domenic.github.io/payment-method-manifest/

zkoch: This is the same thing we discussed at the FTF meeting.
... this is the spec form of the explainer we discussed
... how to get from identifying URL to a manifest if it exists
... verify third party native apps
... this is the formal spec version
... would love comments on it

nicktr: Are there dependencies that we need to explore.
... I think that there are not
... eg. I think PR API can move forward

zkoch: +1

<zkoch> Yes

IJ: My recollection is no normative dependency from PMI on Payment Method Manifest but informative pointer
... Thanks to Domenic
... we are planning to move to W3C repo (soon)

Payment Method Identifiers

nick: Got an issues list for PMIs?

zkoch: AdrianB, Molly, Roy, and I reviewed PMI and BC and created cr milestones

<nicktr> https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-method-identifiers/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+milestone%3ACR

IJ: Alan, are you satisfied with how manifest manages countries?

Alan: Yes

IJ: could we show an example of that in the spec?

zkoch: I think that you can pass in multiple applications through the array
... another way to do this is in the web app manifest spec.
... we can look into it

TAG review

IJ: Anything special to go over here or business as usual?

zkoch: David Baron raised a number of issues. I think they are mostly editorial (for PMI and BC)
... there's a thread from David that IJ chimed in on but I think there is nothing filed that is blocking and substantive right now

Basic Card

Issue 29 => https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-methods-card/issues/29

[IJ summarizes]

Matt: Ok to postpone; let's not close

<zkoch> I think it's added already

Payment Handler API

https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-payment-handler

<AdrianHH> I would like to address https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-payment-handler/issues/142 or put in an issue marker (as this now replaces Matt's issue 127)

IJ: Planning CFC first week of May

<AdrianHH> Otherwise nothing further todo

[Brief comment on issue 142...AHB has a small structural suggestion]

adrianhb: I think we can combine two dictionaries in one
... got strong feelings? Let me know

IJ: I will create a frozen version of the spec for the CfC

<AdrianHH> Frozen version should be published prior to CfC imo

Tokenization next steps

Status of setting up task force call?

nicktr: Roy reached out to get that moving and I haven't managed to properly responding yet.

Roy: I think we are ready to spin up
... I will start scheduling thread.

<zkoch> Yay

Next call

<zkoch> +1 to 4 May

NickTR: I suggest we plan to meet 27 April although it may be short

<adrianba> +1

<AdrianHH> +1

Next meeting - 27 April

AdrianHG: I should be able to chair

<AlanSamsungPay> Regrets for next Thu 4/27
