-> https://github.com/w3c/webpayments/wiki/Agenda-20170216 Agenda
<nicktr> https://github.com/w3c/browser-payment-api/pull/409
nicktr: The heart of the matter
is whether it should sit in payment request or the payment
method
... the particular issue is taxation computation
roy: I did not attend this week's editor's call (due to conflict)
molly: I don't have any additional info
nicktr: This is tricky because it
changes by region
... so variable by payment method AND location
adamR: Also changes over time
(e.g., in the US, state sales tax computations have changed
over time)
... it may also be the case that counties in the US get
involved, and we need flexibility to accommodate those sorts of
changes
IJ: Let's come back to this next week
<nicktr> https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-method-identifiers/pull/21/
AdrianHB, did you update your proposal?
IJ: If AdrianHB has not changed the proposal based on previous discussion, let's wait for those changes
<nicktr> https://github.com/w3c/webpayments/wiki/FTF-March2017
nicktr: Are there other topics than those people want to discuss?
roy: It would be nice to figure out what the next state is for the payment app spec
adamr: On that note, I think that
spending some time nailing down issues on payment app spec
would be helpful
... I don't know whether we should do breakouts for that or
main sessino
https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-payment-apps-api/wiki/Proposal-20170130
NickTR: We should ask the editors of each of the specs to give us the issues they would like to discuss at the FTF
IJ: +1
NickTR: Roy, could you take that request (for issues) to the PR API?
IJ: I can do that for Payment App API
Roy: Yes, I can coordinate with PR API editors
IJ: I can also do the issues for credit transfer and tokenized card spec
nicktr: Any other topics to go over while we are together?
AdamR: Rouslan has put in a
suggestion for changes to the way that we match payment
apps
... it has an impact on payment request API
... heads-up that there will be a proposal for managing simple
filters that payment methods might employ (as basic card
does)
23 Feb
Roy: regrets for 23 Feb
IJ: I'm giving a presentation on
1 March.
... to Payments Policy Working Group of the European System of
Central Banks (ESCB)
... any suggestions on topics that you think would be of
particular interest?
nicktr: I am interested in this
