24 November 2017: Version 7.4 of the HTML-XML-utils adds two new features to hxselect and hxremove:

  2. Support for comma-separated selectors. When two or more comma-separated selectors are given as argument, all elements are selected that match at least one of those selectors.

This version also fixes a bug that caused hxselect & hxremove to fail to match the :root selector.
