ISSUE-21: phrasing of the linkability requirement
phrasing of the linkability requirement
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- Use Cases and Requirements
- Raised by:
- Frans Knibbe
- Opened on:
- 2015-06-10
- Description:
- The linkability requirement (http://w3c.github.io/sdw/UseCases/SDWUseCasesAndRequirements.html#Linkability) was phrased as
"Spatial data on the Web should be linkable (by explicit relationships between different facts in different data sets), to other spatial data and to or from other types of data."
In thread https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-sdw-wg/2015Jun/0044.html
it was suggested to change 'facts' to 'features'. There could be problems with such a change. - Related Actions Items:

Related notes:
The current proposal does not speak of 'facts' or 'feaures', but uses the more general term 'data' :
"Spatial data on the Web should be linkable (by explicit relationships between different data in different data sets), to other spatial data and to or from other types of data."
Description proposed by Frans accepted by the group on the telco today, July 29th 2015. Changed at the document.
