SSN req. out of scope - Dependency between data and actuation decision
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- Use Cases and Requirements
- Raised by:

- Description:
- I tagged the following SSN requirement as out of scope: "Dependency between data and actuation decision", SSN tab, column Q of the spreadsheet.
I am not sure about including sensor actuaction under the scope of the SSN ontology and I think this should be discussed by the group. OGC has a related standard specification called Sensor Planning Service: http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/sps
This requirement is related to only one UC: https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/wiki/Working_Use_Cases#Integration_of_governmental_and_utility_data_to_enable_smart_grids_.28SSN.2C_Best_Practice.29.

Related notes:
Decided on the group's call (July 8, 2015) to close the requirement and leave it out of the UCR document. Kerry will follow the discussion with people from the Web of Things group -> http://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/track/actions/58
