Debbie: how the challenges impact Web usage

BJ: most of the research is in how to use tools to assist people vs how they interact with Web, impact of Web usage
... how to use ipad, tablet, or smartphone to help people track appt, time activities so not to spend too much time on one item and how reminder apps and to-do list help focus attention
... if anyone has thoughts on personas where they found how interacting with Web changes would be helpful
... continue to fill in spaces as more information is obtained

Debbie: call for suggestions
... trying to find online user groups where we could as people what frustrations they may have bc of their disability

BJ: some of the ADHD user groups are parents looking for solutions for their kids especially school and kids

Debbie: family members may be able to give feedback not just users

BJ: has identified a few adults who have identify with this issue to interview

Aging and dementia

BJ: planning to use that in personas and characteristic broken down by age groups
... ADHD, autism, dementia as you change over time
... age groups as you get more literate and learn more skills as to how you use the technology differently

Debbie: this is something we should keep in mind as we go forward

BJ: coping skills change as a person ages with a disability
