@lang is not part of XHTML1.1, @xml:lang is, so we resolve that XHTML1.1+RDFa will only support @xml:lang. link
@datatype holds a basic_curie, rather than a safe_curie. (I.e., it does not need to have square brackets around it, and is essentially the same behaviour as @rel, @rev and @property.) link
