What happens when the membership triples are modified?

- The specification is currently silent on what happens if anyone of the membership properties is changed. Should it stay that way or say anything? If the latter, what should it say?
One solution is to do nothing: if the server allows the modification, it is up to the server to decide whether any other changes should be made.
