Nicholas Humfrey
I am joining the RDF Working Group as a representative for British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), along side Yves Raimond. I am also the BBC representative for the SPARQL WG.
I am currently the Technical Architect for BBC Radio and Music Online.
Prior to being a technical architect, I was a Software Engineer working on the BBC's Music website, where we followed the Linked Data Principles to expose our data. Prior to the BBC, I was at the University of Southampton, in The IAM Group.
In my spare time I have written various pieces of Open Source software, including EasyRdf, a PHP library designed to make it easy to consume and produce RDF. I am also the author of RedStore, a lightweight RDF triplestore written in C using the Redland library.
