For instructions on how to scribe, see the CommonScribe User Manual.
At the end of each telecon, the scribe should:
- In a browser, use the Publish Minutes interface.
- Click the [Copy IRC Log] button to populate a Chatlog page with a copy of the IRC log. Follow the link text in "New IRC content should be <here>".
- Click the <preview nicely formatted version> link at the top and note errors.(Note, Publish Minutes has a [Generate Preview] button to do this as well.)
- Go back to the Chatlog page and click <edit> to improve the minutes and preview again.
- Rinse, lather, repeat, finally clicking [Save For Review/Approval] in the nicely formatted version.
- You should see "Page being saved to ...". Follow this link to admire your chef d'oeuvre.
