Description:

The current vCard-in-RDF seems to do vCard v3 [1]; it contains a note that anticipates the new vCard v4 aka RFC 6350 [2]. To exploit the deployed basis, a v3-based approach seems more sensible, however, a more future-oriented take would be to base it on v4 of vCard. Note that there seem to be compatibility issues between v3 and v4 as found in, for example [3].
