I am a software engineer at UIEvolution, inc..
We've been involved in the development of the first successful large scale
IPTV over IPv6, which is named Hikari-TV.
It features 76 channels including high definition (HD) channels, more than
10,000 video on demand titles and over 13,000 titles in its karaoke service.

Based on our development experience on the Hikari-TV, we are very interested
in contributing to defining the additional standards
needed for smarter integration of web technologies and broadcast services.

For example, one of the problems we had was to predict which button gets
focused next in the HTML browser
because that was browser-dependent. (the remote only had up,down, right, and
left keys).
I intend to submit our experiences and lessons learned through the Hikari-TV
development.

Note:
Depending on the schedule, our program manager, Kotaro Hashimoto may attend
instead.
