Action Item Reviews

Schema for Component Model Format

Tony will build on schema that Jonathan posted.

Tony will pursue complexType design.

Youenn has reviewed the schema.

Youen asks if the output should be just Part 1 or both Parts 1 and 2.

Tony recommends to start with Part 1.

Arthur suggests that all practical WSDLs will have Part 2 components, e.g. SOAP binding.

Youenn says his implementation may not be implementing some optional extensions, e.g. wsdlx:safe.

Arthur suggest dump should be complete representation of whatever the implementation is building up as the component model.

Arthur - we can maybe have a stylesheet that filters out optional extension.

Jonathan - no extensions in the schema yet.

<Jonathan> icbm

<Jonathan> that name is the bomb!

CMML - Component Model Markup Language

WCML - WSDL Component Model Language

Discussion on how to handle extension components and properties - should we use one namespace for Parts 1 or 2, or have one namespace per extension namespace

Consensus seems to be to use mulitple namespaces.

<TonyR> Name could be "Wsdl Applicable Component Model with Extensions" shortened to "WACME" pronounced "Whack me"?

Jonathan - has stylesheet for comparing two documents - handles permuted attribute order correctly

<TonyR> ACTION: Jonathan to update the Component Model schema to incorporate the complextype / element approach [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/03/30-ws-desc-minutes.html#action02]

<TonyR> Next call: same time next week
