everywhere?
I was wondering about PNG.

WG Notes: Noting that: A) GIF is on the whole more widely supported B) In Japan, PNG is not widely supported (see minutes of Boston meeting) It is proposed to resolve "no" to this comment

Resolution: Indeed, an analysis of the devices on the market today shows that GIF is more widely supported than PNG; in particular, PNG is very poorly supported in most devices on the Japanese market.
