Incubator activities last for one year. The Provenance Incubator's lifetime is from October 2009 to September 2010. After September 2010 all the contents of the group wiki will remain publicly available.

Timeline for the group activities, last updated September 2010

  • Oct: Organization of the group and participants
  • Nov-Dec: Development of use case scenarios
  • Dec-Jan: Articulate requirements that arise from use cases
  • Jan-Jul: Prepare a state of the art report described in the context of the use cases
  • Aug-Sep: Document gaps in the state of the art to address the use cases
  • Sep-Nov: Develop roadmap for future developments and possible recommendations for standardization efforts
