Mission
From Federated Social Web Incubator Group
The Federated Social Web Community Group has the following goals:
- Create a document containing Best Practices for the Open Social Web
- Advocate for the Open Social Web
- Provide a neutral forum for people developing federated social web software to share information and ideas
- Help implementers of federated social web technologies understand and use the tools available
- Set goals for federated social web technologies, like SWAT0
- Support specific federated social web protocols
- Identify missing pieces of the federated social web puzzle and help develop new protocols to fit those needs
