Hugo: I talked to Dan; this is larger than WS in the end; it is back to the TAG

Group reviews

-- Choreography

Martin: still aiming for LC in December
... it's looking good

Philippe: what about the rechartering?

Martin: it's still a bit vague

Hugo: you need to come up with plan and schedule for after Dec 2004
... and submit it to the Director

Philippe: what about switching to the PP?

Martin: no

Steve: but now might be a good time

-- Description

Hugo: F2F last week
... not a lot of progress, though tackled hard ones
... maybe making some progress on formal objections

Martin: choreography has concerns about MEPs not bound
... we would need an example

Hugo: we decided to mark those MEPs at risk at the CR phase
... they will be removed if no binding is done (by us or somebody else)

-- Protocol

Philippe: XOP, MTOM and RRH went to PR today
... we're targetting a Rec by 2nd week of January
... we're planning to recharter the group for maintenance for 6 months, without new items

-- Addressing

Mark: had first F2F and telcons
... we're looking at 5 big issues
... people have action items and are starting discussions on issues
... I am enforcing good standing, and we'll be declaring people in bad standing pretty soon

-- XML CG

Nothing to report related to WS

-- SWSIG

Carine: the IRC channel is more active
... Steve, didn't you have a question to the IG that didn't get answered?

Steve: yes, I asked about choreography and semantics, but didn't get any answer
... however, this is not really relevant anymore

Carine: we should bring it up when we go to LC
