Sometimes people get hung up on the idea that they have
to come up with some formal labeling scheme.
We could assign an
international way of labeling student sleeping and living quarters,
but in practice the people who care most get all they need from
names and room numbers. We can all agree, though, that the version
of the table with the labels is much clearer than the one without.
