Whitespace: beware!

The dot must be immediately followed by the next thing, with no whitespace. Like this:

:joe.rel:mother has :hairColor :brown.

or this:

:joe .rel:mother has :hairColor :brown.

but not like this:

:joe . rel:mother has :hairColor :brown.
