WS WG reports and issues

- Choreo

One remaining issue to resolve this evening. Then on to CR next week or week after.

<Marsh> MN sends regrets - triple booked and forgot it was today...

Sounds like architecture.

Sounds like primer of primers.

MSM: Any documentation that helps the uptake of a spec then it makes sense for that group to do it.
... Regardless of the spec (i.e. WSDL doing something WSDL specific and CHOREO for CHOREO specific). Of course then you have a coordination problem.
... Is there interest in CHOREO WG in doing this.

SRT: I don't think that CHOREO can do this on it's own.

MC: Didn't mention WS-CAF, WS-Eventing etc etc.
... The none W3C stuff is outside of W3C scope.

JM: It's a case of chasing down resource. Don't think that you will get a critical mass across the board for doing this.

MC: It really does sound like architecture. We have a note from WSA which is referenced a lot these days.

MSM: If you detail the relationships then, for example, if you do WSDL2.0 and it is wrong then the Description WG should review it and make corrections to it.

Consensus: Yes you own it and we can facilitate by encouraging WG's to review it.

- Description

F2F last week.

Got thro remaining LC issues and resolutions of issues.

Voted to take core and adjunct to LC and primer to first LC and SOAP binding to LC.

Would be interested to hear from all WG's that we have fixed all issues as part of LC process. We agreed on a LC period ending on the 19th September. Publish early August.

Expecting to publish a note on RELAX NG, DTD's

Resolved one formal objection and two outstanding on F&P.

Paul Downey's note on common schema structures for representing arrays/vectors etc. Document has been drafted. WG declined to publish it as a note but have tabled discussion on it at next F2F.

Yesterday WG voted to move core and soap binding to CR.
