A plea:
- use open, freely implementable
specifications in government.
- Check the Status of
each spec. carefully, and make sure it's explicitly
Royalty Free.
- If not, maybe buy the rights
and make it royalty free, rather than
be beholden to an organisation, maybe in another country,
that could withdraw or restrict your right (or ability) to use
your own data at any time.
