SwigAtTp2006Announce

From W3C Wiki

There will be a :

Semantic Web Interest Group open meeting at W3C Technical Plenary Thursday, 2nd March, Cannes Mandelieu, France. Agenda : below

As Dan Brickley said in his pre-announcement [1], the SWIG is a fairly informal public group, the closest we have to a membership list is subscription to semantic-web@w3.org. (Dan's the chair of SWIG but won't be available, so I'm standing in). The meeting won't be restricted to W3C Members, but we would like to know in advance who will attending for room logistics etc. We don't yet have the web forms set up for this, details will follow as soon as they are are available.

The meeting will be a mix of short and medium-length talks/presentations plus some very short lightning talks, along with some open discussion. There's a snapshot of the provisional agenda below. The lightning talks have proved interesting, useful and fun in previous years. So if anyone would like to present something, anything, but *very quickly*, please let me know. Right now the agenda says "max. 10 minutes", if we get a few more of these that time slot will have to narrow, and the challenge goes up...
