Preamble
Chair to start the meeting by typing on irc:
trackbot, start meeting
Trackbot should already be on the channel but if for some reason it is not call it with the following command:
/invite trackbot
Zakim won't know what meeting it is. Just ignore it. Pick a scribe from the list or ask Zakim to pick one up with the following command:
Zakim, pick a victim
Unfortunately Zakim has no idea who's scribed before so you may have to ask several times before getting an acceptable answer...
Then type:
scribe: xxx
Also, with WebEx, Zakim doesn't know who is on the call so, as people join they should record their attendance with the command: present+ <nickname>

- Publication: We had agreed to publish a new CR with the new editorial changes in Core. If we can resolve to republish CR today, we can definitely get it published on Dec 15 (before the publishing moratorium). If we don't resolve until Dec 13, that's unlikely. We're not entirely clear if these changes count as substantive and restart the 4-week clock, so let's try to get them done now, just in case!
- AS2 Reference by Web Annotations Vocabulary
- They normatively reference 3 classes (as:Application | as:OrderedCollection | as:OrderedCollectionPage) and 9 properties (as:first | as:generator | as:items | as:last | as:next | as:partOf | as:prev | as:startIndex | as:totalItems) see http://w3c.github.io/web-annotation/vocab/wd/
- They resolved to take out those normative references (and replace them with their own clone of those concepts in another namespace) if we don't give them suitable assurances by Dec 16. They are under a lot of time pressure as their charter expires in February.
- Suitable assurance could be done by this resolution:
PROPOSED: We consider the 12 AS2 terms used by WebAnnotations to be stable and will not substantively change their definitions from those in our 06 September 2016 CR. We expect to go to PR in Jan 2017 and see no likely impediments, given our plan to drop any vocabulary terms lacking 2 impls. We currently lack 2 impls of as:startIndex, but assume Anno can provide them.
