One Hundred Word Description of the Idea

Many W3C interactions with the public and Membership happen through its Web site. The current site was launched in October 2009. Technology has, of course, changed, as have the expectations of our audiences: businesses, developers, and members. The launch of Web Platform Docs may also impact what information we feel we need to provide on w3.org.

Some examples of ways in which a new site would improve the experience of our community:
