Agenda item 2; Diabetes Patient Data

Thanks to Parsa Mirhaji, there sample patients data available at the wiki.

Vipul led a discussion on how to represent patient data in RDF/OWL, presentation used during discussion.

Notes from discussion;

v (Vipul) Aiming for OWL, however a choice we have to take later.

v (Helen) Alan Rector has already represented HL7/RIM in RDF (Link to paper).

v (Vipul) For measure of goodness we can test in the use case and use a set of compliance questions.

Outcome from discussion;

Action 1: Vipul will update presentation based on discussion.

Action 2: Helen, Vipul and Dan to work on HL7/RIM version of patient data.

Action 3: Tom Oniki and Stan Huff to work on the DCM version of patient data.

Action 4: Jennifer and Rachel to work on the SDTM version of patient data.

Action 5: Kerstin, Alan and Bo to work on the “Realist approach for representing patient data.

Action 6: Vipul to look at Chimezie’s POMR model.

Aim for first versions in two weeks, i.e. 5 February.

Agenda item 3. Update on Identifying Modeling Constructs for Diabetes Data Requirements

Agenda item 4. Data Requirements for Hypertension Study

Agenda item 5. IRB Approval Updates

Vipul can get access to patient data. However every case need a unique approval.

Vipul find it probable to use this patient data in a demo and in a publication.
