Co-Constraint Dimension: Type

In message Analysis of use cases for co-constraints Fabio Vitali proposed a set of dimensions for the evaluation of co-constraints use cases. This is an explanation of dimension type.

type: the type of the dependency

  • OCCURRENCE: the presence of an element or an attribute triggers the effect
  • VALUE: the specific value of an element or an attribute triggers the effect
  • OPERATION: arithmetic or string or boolean functions on the value trigger the effect
  • NO CONDITION: No condition, but the choice of one and only one of the listed effects
  • NOT CLEAR: Description of use case does not explain the type of dependency
