AB/2014-2015 Priorities/w3C AB representing AC plan

From W3C Wiki

Raison d'être

W3C AB members are elected by W3C members via the AC representative (AC rep). The way AB members do represent W3C members is not something that the consortium has been clearly defined and documented, and the synchronization between elected members and their electors is left to experimentation. this may not be a bad thing, but as the consortium grow, it may be beneficial to draft some guidelines, best practice, to make sure the W3C members have a chance to influence AB discussions. It may be interesting to revisit the way W3C members opinion may feed the AB members actions and the AB members are actually organizing the collection of W3C members ideas/opinions. This project will suggest few mechanisms to make the AB and AC representatives interacting more and on appropriate topics.

The project will work in public. The project will involve any volunteer, it will target interaction with AC representatives. The project will suggest during AC meeting in May 2015 a plan.
