ODRL Version 2.2 Ontology

The Open Digital Rights Language (ODRL) is a policy expression language that provides a flexible and interoperable information model, vocabulary, and encoding mechanisms for representing statements about the usage of content and services. The ODRL Vocabulary and Expression describes the terms used in ODRL policies and how to encode them.

This vocabulary was published by the Permissions & Obligations Expression Working Group. See the full ODRL Vocabulary & Expression specification for a detailed, human readable version of the vocabulary, as well as the ODRL Information Model specification describing the underlying model.

Namespace URI

The namespace URI for ODRL is http://www.w3.org/ns/odrl/2/.

Alternative serialisations

The ODRL 2 vocabulary is published both in human- and machine-readable forms. A GET request made to the canonical namespace URI will cause HTTP Content Negotiation to occur, which means that the most appropriate variant will be served according to your request.
