Talk:Metadata Module

From Ontology-Lexica Community Group

Here we will discuss the metadata module

Namespace

The one reported in the code refers to the current version of the vocabulary, with the original namespace (http://art.uniroma2.it/ontologies/lime), but obviously it will be changed to reflect the community group decisions, once these have been taken. Pls add here any proposal for that. I suggest to maintain the name Lime (Linguistic Metadata) for it, especially if Lemon will be the definitive name of OntoLex (or part thereof), as Lime makes a nice (and juicy) pair with Lemon :-)

We can decide URLs and naming for modules after we decide for the main module John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

Imports

Maybe better to limit the owl:imports to the sole void vocabulary, and let the other ones be cited.

ConceptualizedResource

Does this mean has a ontolex-lemon:LexicalConcept? John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

SKOSDataset

Surely this would already be captured by the void:dataset property. Is it really in our scope to talk about SKOS anyway? John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

SenseAwareDictionary

Most ontology-lexica should have senses, would a cleaner representation perhaps be lime:numberOfSenses with zero if there are no senses John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

hasHumanReadableLocalNames

Surely the forms of the entries are human readable? What is meant here? John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

lang vs. language

Why have both properties? Also there is already a language property in the core module so we should not overlap names John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

languageCoverage

Not clear what this means John McCrae 14:51, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
