Review of open action items

Norm: Any progress?

None heard. #Sadpanda

TPAC Schedule

Norm: I've requested that our meeting be moved to Monday/Tuesday.

Norm: I believe that Henry, Vojtech, and Jim will not be able to be present.

<ht> correct

Alex: I plan to be there both days.

<jfuller> I can attempt to attend virtually adhocly

Norm: I may have failed to request the bridge.

<ht> No bridge for me

Jim: We can use other technologies.

Alex: It would be good to have some joint time.

<ht> OTOH, if you nominate some 45-minute slots in advance, I will try to make them

Norm: Ok, let's plan to do Skype, or Hangouts, or something.

Some mumbling about times.

<jfuller> all slots work for me

<jfuller> http://www.w3.org/2014/11/TPAC/

<ht> 0900, 1000 work for me either day

<ht> 0800 only works on Monday

Norm: Ok, I propose we have a 45-60 minute telcon session at 9:00a PST on Monday and Tuesday.

Spec proposals?

Norm: Is anyone working on any ?
... I've been working on issue #62

-> https://github.com/xproc/specification/issues/62

<jfuller> https://github.com/xproc/specification/labels/requirement

Jim: Is that the requirements?

Norm: Yes.
... I thought #62 was lowish hanging fruit.
... Alex, are you still planning to do something with zip/unzip?

Alex: Yes. But things are busy. Hopefully ready by TPAC.

Some discussion of the operational aspects of setting things up and getting things working.

Workplan

Pick an issue/requirement, assign it to yourself, and have at it.

Jim: Is it worth spending a little bit of time doing a sizing exercise.

-> https://github.com/xproc/specification/issues?q=is%3Aopen+label%3Arequirement+label%3Amust

<ht> +10

Norm blathers on a bit about musts. Concludes that "Integrate non-XML documents" and "simplify parameters" are the big ticket items to resolve once and for all at TPAC

Henry: If we can headline those two changes, achieve the other musts that we might beat the V2 hoodoo. We might have a spec that's about the same length and significnatly improved.

Any other business?

Henry: If in preparing for the TPAC meeting we have trouble locating the notes from Edinburgh, let me know.

Muttering about a publication deadline.

Adjourned.
