VT: My question is whether there is a single global set of imported schemas, or if things are scoped by pipelines/libraries

HST: I agree the draft suggests scoped
... So what if I use a step from a library, and its output has types for which it has done an p:import-schema -- should that work? Doesn't according to the current spec, I think
... I think the merger question is answered by the 'synthetic schema document' stuff
