Success Criteria

3.1.6 Form Submission Confirm: The user can specify whether or not recognized form submissions must be confirmed. (Level AA)

Tests

Test Procedure 1

  1. Check whether there are preferences or other controls that let the user specify that form submissions must be confirmed. (e.g. by exploring the UI or consulting Help documentation).
  2. Turn on the setting.
  3. Open a test document that contains form entry fields and a "submit" button.
    Sample HTML test document: Sample form with a variety of form controls
  4. Select the "Submit" button
  5. Check that the user agent prompts the user to confirm form submission.

Expected Results 1

  • Check #5 is true
