Success Criteria

2.7.1 Allow Persistent Accessibility Settings: User agent accessibility preference settings persist between sessions. (Level A)
Note: User agents may have a public access setting that turns this off.

Tests

Test Procedure 1

  1. Open accessibility settings (e.g. text size, captions on/off, etc.).
  2. Modify several of the accessibility settings.
  3. Exit the user agent
  4. Re-open the user agent
  5. Open accessibility settings to the screen that was changed.
  6. Check that the modified accessibility settings are still set to the new values.
    Note: It is acceptable for the user agent to have a setting that turns this behaviour off in case the user agent is installed in a public setting.


Expected Results 1

  • Check #6 is true
