Success Criteria

2.7.4 Allow Preference Changes from outside the User Interface: The user can adjust any preference settings required to meet the User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG) 2.0 from outside the UA user interface. (Level AAA)

Tests

Test Procedure 1

  1. Identify (e.g. by exploring the UI or consulting Help documentation) whether it is possible to edit accessibility preference settings from outside of the user agent (e.g. editing its settings file with a text editor).
  2. Check that you can edit a few randomly selected settings and that the settings are properly taken up when the user agent is opened.

Expected Results 1

  • Check #2 is true
