Please Note: The XML Accessibility Guidelines are currently a Working Draft in development. The document will change, and readers are advised to check from time to time and at least every three months for a newer draft or a change in status.
The XML Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 are produced by the Protocols and Formats Working Group (PFWG) as part of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). The goals of the Working Group are discussed in the PFWG charter.
The normative version of the XML Accessibility Guidelines is in English. If English is not your first language, volunteers are working to provide translations in other languages.

If you wish to volunteer as a translator for a W3C specification, please write to w3c-translators@w3.org. In your message, be sure to include the URI of the specification you wish to translate and the language of the translation. Please do indicate the "latest version" URI (http://www.w3.org/TR/ATAG10) but the URI of the specific document you wish to translate (the "this version" URI in the guidelines).
The mailing list w3c-translators@w3.org is also a discussion forum for people working on translations of W3C specifications such as the Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines. To subscribe to this list, send an email to w3c-translators-request@w3.org with the word "subscribe" in the subject line (include the word "unsubscribe" if you want to unsubscribe). The w3c-translators archive is available online.
Translators must give W3C permission to republish the translated version and to allow readers to make copies without restrictions. The copyright details for translations of W3C specifications are explained in section 5.7 of W3C's IPR FAQ.
The following lists the people who have volunteered to translate the Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 into specific languages. People are listed in the order they volunteered. Translators may wish to share work on writing and reviewing translations.
