What should be in WCAG 2.1? Here is the WCAG spec sketch page. NOTE: This is draft page for the WCAG chairs to brain storm requirements.

WCAG 2.1 Wish list

  • Some new Success Criteria, as few as possible.
  • This will not be a major overhaul but an iterative evolution.

Requirements

  • A WCAG 2.1 site should be WCAG 2.0 conforming
  • We should publish this with the smallest number of the most critical things should be a principle.
  • It should take a snapshot of current TF deliverables.

Relationship with 2.1

  • Active work on 3.0 can be going in parallel, some issues from the working group that are too big to be dealt with in 2.1 will be addressed in this space.
  • More UAAG/ATAG related integration will take place in 3.0 space.

ACTION

  • Josh/AWK/MC to review the current TF deliverables to look for candidate SCs.
