Proposed Revisions to SC 2.2.5

resolution: revise SC 2.2.5 to read, "2.2.5 Interruptions, such as updated content, can be postponed or suppressed by the user, except interruptions involving an emergency.

Proposed definition of "sign language interpretation"

resolution: accept proposed definition as, "translation of spoken words and other audible information into a language that uses a simultaneous combination of handshapes, facial expressions, and orientation and movement of the hands, arms or body to convey meaning."

Proposed definition of "audio description"

resolution: accept John's proposed definition, replacing "naturally occurring" with "exising." -

narration added to the soundtrack to describe important visual details that cannot be understood from the main soundtrack alone. During existing pauses in dialog, audio descriptions of video provide information about actions, characters, scene changes and on-screen text.

resolution: defer non-category 1 items from general and batch 1 surveys to editors for cleanup.
