Participation is open to members of W3C/WAI's Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG) and to individuals interested in participating in and contributing to the efforts of the Education and Outreach Working Group (EOWG). Any participants not already members of the EOWG should read the EOWG Charter and the how to join page, and send the requested information to the EOWG Chair.
Since the focus of this meeting is on exchanging information about promotion and implementation of W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) primarily in European countries, at this meeting we welcome people who are engaged in promoting implementation of WCAG in Europe but who are not currently involved in the EOWG. However, we request that they familiarize themselves with and be interested in coordinating their efforts with EOWG.
This EOWG meeting is held on the Friday immediately following the Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines Working Group meeting on June 18 and 19, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group meeting on June 20 and 21, also at CWI in Amsterdam.
Pre-registration is required for everyone attending the Education and Outreach Working Group meeting on Friday, June 22, 2001, even those who have registered for other W3C/WAI meetings that week.
The meeting is hosted by Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica (CWI):
1098 SJ Amsterdam
Tel.: +31 20 592 4171
Fax: +31 20 5924199
Hotels are available through the following resources:
Also there may be rooms available at these hotels although the listed CWI rates may no longer be valid.
Maps and directions are available from the "About CWI" web site. There is a bus, but it requires a 1 mile walk from the bus stop to the campus. Cabs are also a good way to get there.
The following is a proposed agenda, with as-yet unlinked documents for discussion and review. Comments to the EOWG mailing list welcome.
