WRL XML Schemas

The XML syntax for WRL is originally given through a mapping in the WRL specification document. This document describes the XML Schemas for the XML syntax.

The XML syntax set consists of the following documents:

Identifiers
IRIs, data values and the like are specified according to wrl-identifiers.xsd
Conceptual syntax
The main schema for WRL/XML is wrl-xml-syntax.xsd.
Logical expression syntax
The logical expression syntax uses a number of schemas from RuleML:
naffolog.xsd enables the modeling of rules using Lloyd-Topor and includes negation-as-failure
frame_module.xsd enables the frame-style modeling (molecules) of WRL

The namespace of the WRL-specific elements is "http://www.wsmo.org/wsml/wrl-syntax#". The namespace of the RuleML elements in the logical expression syntax is "http://www.ruleml.org/0.89/xsd".
