Accessible Tables with HTML 4

Tables are essentially visual presentations. With a little extra work by the author, they can be browsed a cell at a time

• Describe the organization using the summary attribute
• Associate header cells with the data they describe using the header/id or scope attributes
• Provide abbreviations for header cells using the abbr attribute
• Group cells into categories with the axis attribute
