List Syntax

There are currently several different list syntaxes allowed in SVG. It would be ideal to unify them as much as possible. Here are some syntax details:

• List-of-strings: comma and/or space separated

There are some string values that may contain spaces or semicolons; none are no string values known that allow commas at an atomic level.

Spaces allowed

• codecs: RFC-2361 WAVE and AVI Codec Registries ("video/vnd.avi; codec=SCRN")

Semicolons allowed

• codecs: RFC-2361 WAVE and AVI Codec Registries ("video/vnd.avi; codec=SCRN")
