Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: What's the use case? Or is it required for Web compat? If there's no use case and it isn't required for Web compat, I recommend asking UAs to remove it instead.

Given that WebKit, Presto and Gecko all implement it, and that Google code search reveals quite a few uses, [1] this looks like it's necessary for compatibility.
